Why is your plan better?

We believe that homeowners have the right and duty to know the scope and cost  of a project before approving the work. We're advocating for proper assessment that will allow us to address actual failure points and monitor low risk points

What We Propose

Slow Down & Assess

Manage & Monitor the Project

Scope Full Problem & Cost

  • Determine if we are actually at risk of non-renewal with our current insurance provider
  • Seek the opinion of our insurance broker for alternative providers if needed
  • Lastly, make use of WA FAIR Plan created for insuring high risk properties

Scope Full Problem & Cost

Manage & Monitor the Project

Scope Full Problem & Cost

  • Determine points of failure in the piping (valve fittings--any others?)
  • Use non-invasive imaging to determine how many of the remaining 200 units have damage
  • Determine all costs incurred to date and obtain estimates for remaining scope of work

Manage & Monitor the Project

Manage & Monitor the Project

Manage & Monitor the Project

  • Fix the points of failure that are found
  • Fix associated damage from these leaks (in planned, controlled manner)
  • Monitor units that have not failed, fix on failure
  • Re-plumb units in conjunction with other work
